REMOTE – NORTHERN USA

Our Customer:

We are thrilled to recruit for this multiple award-winning, niche travel business who are looking to add a Groups Sales Manager, to their diverse close-knit travel trade sales team, reporting directly to the Vice President of Sales North America.
   

Job Description:

This Groups Sales Manager role, is remote working and is responsible for driving awareness of this amazing product and offering to travel and interest groups across all of North America.

In this role, you will:
  • Drive group revenue growth using your existing network and identifying future group travel sales opportunities
  • Developing and putting into action detailed plans to sell products or services to specific groups of people who share common interests
  • Identify new affinity group opportunities and maximise these
  • Understanding and ensuring the client’s needs are met
  • Responsible for negotiating group travel rates and terms achieving good revenue and profit
  • Maintain contact with groups, pre-, during, and post-travel to ensure satisfaction and drive future repeat and referral bookings
  • Travel extensively across the length and breadth of North America covering the full territory for group sales
  
  
Experience Required:  
  • Proven track record of group sales success within travel
  • Willing to travel as needed on a regular basis
  • A true networker who enjoys being the ‘face’ of a brand
  • Skilled in event planning, data analysis, and budgeting
  • Track record of great Relationship building
  • Familiar with CRM tools like Salesforce, with excellent MS Office skills
  • Eager to learn and develop product knowledge
  • Attention to detail
  • Adaptable, positive, and enthusiastic demeanor
